I've also tried making an Interface/Addon folder in RIFT folder within my Steam folder (C/Program Files x86/Steam/steamapps/common/RIFT) and dropping addons into there, but no luck. I'm dragging the addon files into the addon folder (My Documents/RIFT/Interface/Addons-this is the folder that opens when I click the open file locator button in the addon screen in-game) but they're not appearing in the addon screen in-game.
I downloaded Rift through Steam and I'm trying to install addons.
